That date was supposed to be mid 2012 but thanks to the so-called guardians of the internet, IPv6 was unveiled. With this new protocol for assigning IPs, the internet and the billions of users who will come online in the next 50 years will have a copious number of slots with which to use. This is the best way to protect yourself from online attacks. Your presence online will remain anonymous so far as you keep using those software. That also means that online hackers just can’t attack your PC.
These tools work in a very simple manner. The fact is when you go online and type the link address to a specific website a query is sent to that website. In response to the query, the website in question has to send some information back. But it has to first know to which location it should send its response. It is through the IP address that the website will know to which location it should send the response to. With the anonymous application tools, a different IP address will be given to the website, not the one to your exact location. So the website will now respond to the IP that has been given to it. Then that response will be brought back to your PC through the anonymous application tool. That means even if a hacker was monitoring your activities, he is going to get your location wrong because the IP that has been given is not the real one.
If you know your Internet protocol address - and can change it you practically don’t have to worry about spyware. Spywares rely on IP address to monitor your activities. You can just trick them by giving them a fake IP address and you are now safe. Online proxy server use the same method but because there are too many people using them nowadays they turn to be much slower.
