Valentine day is here again and people are getting ready to enjoy the time with their loved ones. If you have a partner, you definitely want to surprise him/her with a nice gift to express your love and appreciation. Tech gifts are great ideas. Last christmas statistics showed that iPads were one of the most wanted gifts. People love latest electronic gadgets and valentine day should not be that different. Of course everything depends on your partner’s taste. Make sure you know your partner well and choose a gift accordingly. Choose a gift that is romantic and durable so that you can together refer to it even year later. Below are some few gift ideas you can choose from.

How about a brand new laptop?
There are chances your partner already has an old laptop but there are always better ones coming up and considering the fact that both of you are going to spend your relationship using those portable equipments, it is definitely not a bad idea. Give your loved one that impression of being the first to own one of those latest laptops released just this year.

Think about the Microsoft Surface Pro just released this very month. It is still hot and probably very few people have one at this point in time. Mind you Surface Pro is the first ever real laptop that has taken the shape of a tablet. You are going to make a kill by surprising your partner with this cool gadget.

Another latest laptop that just came up this year is the HP Pavillon 14. Hewlett-Packard has entered the Google Chrome OS world with this new Chromebook. The price is slightly higher than the other chromebooks but when it comes to specs this laptop beats the other ones by far. Your loved one will definitely be happy to own one.

MacBook Air remains the thinnest laptop ever produced. If your valentine does not yet own one, maybe this is your chance to offer him/her this impressive laptop. Your techie friend is definitely going to be proud of it.

Don’t forget, once you got that laptop make sure to also get some romantic movies that you guys can watch together throughout the day.

Phone and tablets are still making wave
Latest laptop can be quite expensive and not everybody can afford them. The Surface Pro goes for $999 and the MacBook Air is also around the same price. If you don’t have that much money to spend you can still get an affordable brand new phone that will not require you to break the bank.

Nokia just released the Lumia 620, the most affordable phone running Windows Phone 8. It goes for less than $300 which is much cheaper than the latest Android phones. It is a mid-range phone that most users wouldn’t mind having. If you are willing to spend a little bit more, the Google Nexus 4 could make a big difference. Depending on how much you are willing to spend you can even buy 2 same phone with the same color. It is always interesting when 2 lovers have the same phone. You can include a phone case with romantic colors like pink or red.

You can also choose to go for a tablet PC. Samsung and Apple are in the forefront fighting for domination in the tablet world. Maybe you should ask your partner what he/she prefers first: Android or iOS. You can then choose base on the taste.

Affordable Stuff
Not everybody has much money to spend on expensive gadgets. There are still affordable tech products that you can rely on to save the day.

If your partner already has an iPad or a nice latest phone you can offer a new case with romantic colors. A multi-card reader can still be useful. How about organizing a romantic night in front of your PC watching the movies you rented from Netflix.

Valentine day is not necessarily about spending money or buying something for the person you love. It is more about showing your love in any way you can. Why not just send a text message telling that person how much your love him/her. An email with a lovely virtual card can still bring joy and happiness. You can include a poem in the mail.

If your other half is miles away, a Skype chat or a Google hangout can do the trick. Just make sure you share the love during the 14th February. The most important thing is to be sincere in the love you are expressing.
