YG.com Domain Name Sold For $125,000

Sites include , . Published on September 1st, 2012. Written by Daniel Renfro.

The domain name journal puts out weekly sales reports that updates people on the top sales through the various domain name selling companies, for a given week. Sometimes there are 6 figure sales in the top 20 while on other, slower weeks, the highest selling domain names are only in the 5 figure range. This week however was one of those great sales weeks where there was a 6 figure domain name at the top of the pack.

The domain name YG.com sold for $125,000 and took the top spot through all of the domain name selling companies and was also the only 6 figure sale for this week. This domain name was sold through Toby Clements newsletter.

Domain names can be pretty expensive, costing some companies 6 figure amounts, while others are more affordable and cost only a couple hundred dollars. However despite the cost, the domain name would eventually pay for itself if the company has a successful and growing business.

Though it is obvious from the above sale that domain names can be quite pricey sometimes, depending on who they are purchased from and the URL itself, it is a wise decision for businesses of all kinds and sizes to consider moving their business online and purchasing a domain name. So many companies are doing business online nowadays and the domain name would more than likely pay for itself in the near future.

Check out the latest top sales through the Domain Name Journal. They give out weekly reports on the top sales through all of the top domain name selling companies, making it easier and more convenient to check 1 web site instead of several for the top sales in a given week.

These are a few web sites you can check out if interested in buying a domain name and wanting to learn more about the business. DomainNameJournal.com, Sedo.com, Afternic.com, GoDaddy.com.
