Recently through Sedo, the huge 6 figure domain name sale, Metal.com occurred for $140,000. Though this is a big sale and is very note worthy, it is unfortunate to find out that the domain name sold for $25,000 more 2 years ago in 2010, than it did presently. The seller lost some money through this sale, however I’m sure they will recover with the profit they did make off of it.

Domain names can be pretty expensive, costing some companies 6 figure amounts, while others are more affordable and cost only a couple hundred dollars. However despite the cost, the domain name would eventually pay for itself if the company has a successful and growing business.
