Lady Gaga Now Has 25 Million Twitter Followers

Some of the folks in Indonesia might think Lady Gaga is the devil’s spawn, but over here in the west, that sort of stuff won’t get your concert cancelled, it will get you lots of followers on Twitter.

The sometimes bizarre Gaga is now celebrating a new milestone having just surpassed the 25 million followers mark on the popular micro-blogging platform. Her followers are affectionately called ‘tweetmonsters’ and many took to Twitter to celebrate with their queen. James McElroy tweeted: “Very proud to be one of #25milliontweetymonsters of the wonderful @ladygaga.”

Some will look on and say that Gaga is a bit of a bad influence but the one thing that keeps her relevant is her engagement with fans. This shows in the numerous tweets she sends updating her fans about most things that goes on in her life. This is somewhat of a rarity among celebs and the fan adoration of Gaga is a testament to this.

Now she adds Twitter to her growing list of vanquished social media platforms. She did if you’ll remember, become one of the most viewed artists on Youtube with her ‘Bad Romance’ single.

Lady Gaga is presently on tour and though she’s been booted out of the more religiously conscientious countries, she’s making waves in countries that quite simply, just love a bit of debauchery. Her next stop is New Zealand.
