Buffer Hits 180,000 Users
Buffer is a relatively new company and feature that allows people to manage their social media accounts in an easy, convenient way.
“Buffer is designed for marketers and other folks who want to maintain an active social media presence without actually spending every second of their day on Facebook and Twitter. You can load the service up with content that you want to share, then it automatically gets posted throughout the day.”
The founders of Buffer were recently supposed to be moving from San Francisco, CA back to Hong Kong due to expiring Visas. Despite the immigration issues they have faced, and having to leave the States, their company Buffer has continued its growth. It is now at 180,000 users. The team plans to be back State side in July, but their absence hasn’t affected the feature negatively since they are now at their 10 millionth update. In January they had reached their 5 millionth update, so just in a few months time they have doubled the amount of updates as well as grown in registered users.
Buffer might be a hard company or feature to understand for some who aren’t so technologically savvy. Here’s a quote about what Buffer does to put it more simply:
“Buffer is a smarter way to share pictures, links or videos on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Just drop everything worth sharing in your Buffer and it will be posted for you well spaced out over the day, at a better time. It works from anywhere, with lots of app integrations, browser extensions and shortcuts!”
This is definitely a company to watch out for in the up and coming months. It is worth checking out for those who think its features could benefit them. It makes managing multiple social media sites easier and more convenient.
