Google Analytics Has Over 10 Million Users
There are lots of free and paid tools online that help webmasters and business owners track their site metrics. One of the best free alternative is Google Analytics, a service which it is now being revealed is used by over 10 million people.
The not-so-small detail was revealed at a recent earnings call during which Google Chief Business Officer Nikesh Arora, talked about just how popular the platform is among businesses. According to Arora, millions of businesses from blogs to full scale ecommerce websites trust Google Analytics to give them the insight they need to optimize and convert better.
Still, for a free service, 10 million is a bit on the low side. Or perhaps analytics is not something that most of the hundreds of millions of websites online take seriously. One can scarcely imagine why that would be the case, but Google’s 10 million users of Analytics is telling.
Arora did mention though that Google Analytics is constantly improving, which is true because as a user myself, I have seen a raft of new features. One big one that I quite like is the social feature that lets you see how well your site is being accessed through various social media circles. A nifty piece of kit and anyone serous about measuring site performance should use it.
