According to the DN Journal, the domain that topped the sales chart recently for the week was eDiscovery.com and it sold for $100,000. It was sold through Domain Advisor. There was actually a tie for the top selling domain name, and this one was sold through Sedo. The domain name that also sold for $100,000 was End.com. These 2 domain names topped the chart for the week that ended March 25, 2012. It is hard to imagine buying or selling a domain name for a 6 figure amount of $100,000 but this is not uncommon nowadays since so many people have the need for a domain name and to expand their business online due to the benefits they will receive.

It will be interesting to see what the domain name eDiscovery.com is used for as well as End.com. The discovery one could be related to the Discovery channel or various things and possibly the end one could be used for all this end of the world talk that’s been going on. Though they certainly do sell 5 and 6 figure domain names at times, they usually are very affordable.
