There was actually a tie for the top selling domain name, and this one was sold through Sedo. The domain name that also sold for $100,000 was End.com. These 2 domain names topped the chart for the week that ended March 25, 2012. It is hard to imagine buying or selling a domain name for a 6 figure amount of $100,000 but this is not uncommon nowadays since so many people have the need for a domain name and to expand their business online due to the benefits they will receive.
It will be interesting to see what the domain name eDiscovery.com is used for as well as End.com.
