Mike Mann is fast becoming the biggest name in domaining and it’s not uncommon for him to rack up sale after sale, in all sorts of niches and TLDs.

His latest success is the sale of which he sold through for a whopping $50,000. This is big money for a .Co and adds to the success Mann has had over the last few months with the rising country code TLD.

The .Co TLD belongs to Colombia, but has been latched onto as a company specific URL extension and many domainers are driving its value on the back of this. Mann has had massive success with this TLD and has recently sold more than $230,000 worth of domains under this extension. His biggest sale so far was which went for a staggering $80,000.

Mann, of course is an all-TLD player and has a very large portfolio of domain names which he sells sometimes from his personal website. The fact that he used Sedo to broker this deal, is therefore telling in some ways. Could it be that he’s having difficulty selling these days? Could it be that a .Co really needs a big platform to command a big sale? These questions can only be answered by Mann himself, but speculation will sure continue if he keeps using Sedo as his outlet.
