Last Year YouTube Reached 700 Billion Playbacks

YouTube provides entertainment for SO many people, ranging from all ages, on a daily basis, from funny videos, music videos, to inspirational videos, and educational ones. YouTube allows people to have their own channels where they can post videos of themselves, or instructional videos, showcase their art work or music, etc and many use it as a type of online blog but one that consists of videos instead of written pieces. Not only does YouTube provide entertainment for many, but many people have procrastination issues due to watching YouTube videos, whether it is music videos, keeping up with their favorite YouTube bloggers and the weekly videos they post, or just searching for funny videos to watch.

Here’s some more information about YouTube and its success:

“On a side note, I do want to point out that many infographics (including this video) are saying that 35 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube every minute.  In fact, back in May this statistic was upped to 48 hours of video being uploaded per minute.  Additionally, we reported last week that YouTube now sees 3.5 billion daily views.”

Another interesting fact about YouTube is that it recently reached 700 billion playbacks, which says a lot about the popularity of YouTube but how many people use it for various entertainment and informative purposes. This is a very exciting and successful for social networking sites and for media and entertainment sites such as YouTube. The internet usage has grown substantially for internet users of all types and the various things that they may be using it for, but because of these social sites, it has allowed people to be more connected and be able to share with friends and family the things that they find and enjoy online.
