Photos of Motorola’s upcoming third Droid model called the Droid Bionic were recently spotted over the Internet. The upcoming model is expected to make its way to the Verizon network this month but you don’t have to wait in suspense since photos of the device are now available.

What do we know about the Motorola Droid Bionic? Other than the confirmed fact that it now sports an 8 megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p videos, nothing much else is known about its other specifications. There is also a microUSB and miniHDMI port which can visibly be seen.

This model has a rumored resolution of 960×540 pixels on its 4 inch screen. It is however unclear what type of processor this model will be using whether it will use the Nvidia Tegra 2 or OMAP. There is also a rumor that this model won’t have 4G functionality so it won’t be able to take advantage of Verizon’s LTE network.

There is also no definite news as to what Android version this model will be using. Whatever Android version the company will choose it will definitely include the Motoblur UI for Android.

If you are a big fan of the Droid series and planning to upgrade your smartphone then the Droid Bionic might be a great deal for you.
