RIM’s PlayBook Appears Not Demanded
BlackBerry PlayBook developed by RIM has become available and these three days made a lot of people feel frustrating about this new tablet. It seems that Rim was in such a hurry to develop this tablet in full that it misses a lot of necessary options. The reviews of the tablet are far from positive and it doesn’t play as a competitor to tablets of other manufacturers.
The first and the most significant drawback is that the PlayBook is missing any availability to e-mails, contacts as well as calendaring. These tools are considered to be essential for any wireless-connected device. That is why many representatives of wireless carriers as well as media outlets start stepping aside from the PlayBook.
There is also a prediction that RIM will stop retailing the PlayBook because of such drawbacks. The opportunity to use your e-mail is possible just with attaching your BlackBerry and RIM promises to add this function soon. Moreover, massive distributors are still hesitating whether to deal with the tablet or not. It is also still doubtful whether the PlayBook will operate with the help of Verizon’s 4G network.
