Rovio Includes Ads to Angry Birds HD

Sites include . Published on March 21st, 2011. Written by Debbie Parker.

Before downloading the free Angry Birds HD update dedicated for the iPad 2 and iPad 1, you should know that apart from an extra golden egg as well as 15 new levels, you will get advertisements that were added by Rovio. The worst of all they will disrupt you when playing the game.

Angry-Birds-HD Complaints of gamers started to emerge in the iTunes Customer Reviews because of ads which are already available in the level-section screen of Angry Bords HD. In case you want to try a level once more or a player starts over on that level or the game is paused, the “Rovio News” ads appear.

The addition of advertising to free apps is quite justified, but the availability of ads on the Angry Birds HD offered for $5 crosses a certain line. If you have spent $5, it means that you should get the game free of ads.

But still it would be right to say that users can benefit a tremendous amount of gameplay for just $5. We just got used to play the game without the ads, and we may feel now as if something has been taken away. It is still unknown whether Rovio is going to remove the ads.
