AOL Releases Android App

Despite having to layoff most of its workforce worldwide, AOL is still pushing through with its expansion of AOL Radio by making it available for Android devices. The company plans to make their service popular by packaging it as a music sharing and social network experience.

The application called Play is available free to download on any Android device. You will be able to listen to music and discover new artists using the app and can even share your music with your friends. The app makes posting music status updates to you Facebook or Twitter account from your Android device easy. You will be able to browse through the huge library of content from AOL Music.

People who love to listen to music and own an Android device will definitely want to try this latest application. Play features several exciting features that bring a whole new experience to listening to music.

T-Mobile is a sponsor to this Play app so don’t be surprised if you will see ads regarding T-mobile appear on the app. It will also be appearing soon in the iPhone.

This latest app released by AOL is a step in the right direction in their bid to become the leader in providing Internet content.
